Produced only in select vintages, the 2018 Cornas Domaine du Coulet Gore is a huge, powerful wine (close to 15% alcohol) that somehow includes intricate complexities and a sense of elegance. Crushed stone notes accent raspberry and cassis fruit in this full-bodied, concentrated wine that retains an edgy, fresh vibe and masses of silky tannins. Aged in a concrete egg, it shows incredible purity and vibrancy on the long, long finish.
