What does En Primeur mean?
En Primeur is a system maintained exclusively in Bordeaux. In this system, wines are sold before they are bottled or released. The proceeds are then used to cover the costs of the next vintage. En Primeur is generally a way to buy good Bordeaux at much better prices.
What are the benefits of buying En Primeur?
One of the main benefits is the price. Most wines are offered at lower prices during the En Primeur campaign than when they eventually become available in bottles. Due to these lower purchase prices, these wines are also very suitable for investment, but also a cost-effective way to fill your cellar with wines that can be stored for a while.
Another important advantage is availability. With many of the Bordeaux wines that become available during this campaign, the supply is smaller than the demand. The En Primeur campaign is therefore the perfect time to reserve your favorite wines.
As a final advantage with the En Primeur campaign you can specify exactly which size of bottle you would like to receive (half bottle, bottle, magnum, double magnum, imperial).
What should I consider during the En Primeur campaign?
During this campaign, we often have a short ordering period. Different wines are released on different days, and we often have only a few hours to place our order. We will ensure that the available wines are present on this page and can be ordered within this timeframe. Because orders are placed directly, we can also submit our precise order.

Varying selection: Every day, there are new wines available for En Primeur ordering, so the selection varies constantly.
Shipping costs calculated afterwards: During the campaign, you can place multiple orders. Shipping costs are calculated afterwards for the entire set of orders.
Offered by the case of 6: All wines – unless otherwise stated – are offered in an original wooden case of 6 bottles. These bottles are not available for individual purchase.
Orders are final if available: For orders placed on our website, we will place the same order with the supplier. Unfortunately, this means that all orders are binding.
While stocks last: We try to take our offerings offline immediately when everything we have available is sold. If a case is sold that we cannot order, the full purchase value will be refunded.
