60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir. Based on 2017 harvest. 40% reserve wine. At least four years on lees. Dosage 5 g/l.
Bright primary lemon fruit with toffee and caramel on the palate – plenty of maturity here, yet not so much autolysis. Savoury and slaty on the nose, in a style that is almost akin to good Riesling Sekt. Smoky finish. A bit sharp and almost austere. (RH)
Pale silver, gold hints. On the nose, citrus notes, green apple and yeasty nuances. Slightly sweet on the palate with a medium-fine mousse, apple and citrus notes on the finish.
