The 2014 Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru les Folatières (Heritiers de Louis Jadot bottling) comes from the lieu-dit "en la Richard" just 50 to 60 meters from Chevalier-Montrachet. It has a very intense bouquet with citrus fruit, jasmine and cold stone -- very classy and focused. The palate is intense from the start with citrus fruit, nutmeg, a touch of ginger and a powerful mid-palate. It fans out beautifully in the mouth, a bravura of a performance!
