The Dujac harvest began with the 2023 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières on September 1. Offering up aromas of white peach, hazelnuts, freshly baked bread and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and satiny, with an elegantly layered core and a fine-boned, giving profile.
Mid lemon. Apple, lemon, white flowers and blossom. Medium-bodied with well-judged oak and not too much richness. Quite mineral with moderately high, zesty acidity. (MH)
A ripe and moderately exotic nose offers up notes of spicy white peach and citrus confit along with plenty of floral elements. The sleeker and more vibrant medium-bodied flavors possess a notably more sophisticated palate impression as well as an overt stoniness that adds to the appeal of the agreeably dry, persistent and balanced finish where a touch of austere eventually emerges.
Mid lemon yellow with a light green tint. Leaner fruit on the nose, yet ripe enough on the palate, a bit buttery at the finish even, after some brisk citrus and orchard fruit up front. Medium length.
