Strong reduction masks the fruit. As is usually the case this is cool and restrained with fine intensity and detail to the stony and sleekly muscular flavors that possess a relatively refined mouth feel before culminating in a lingering and well-balanced finish that is underpinned by firm tannins. This is an unusually elegant rendition of the appellation in 2013 but one that is built to age.
