This wine has reached full maturity, as evidenced by the amber edge to its medium dark ruby/garnet color. The nose offers up copious quantities of sweet earth, red and black currant fruit, cedar, and herbs. This is a plump, atypically fleshy style of d'Issan, that is nicely concentrated, attractive, round, and ideal for current drinking.
