A hint of herbal tea sits atop the aromas of red and black currant, anise and more subtle earth elements. The noticeably more finely textured and more sophisticated flavors possess an almost lilting mouthfeel while exuding a subtle bead of minerality on the dusty bitter pit fruit-inflected finish that is noticeably better-balanced. Lovely and a wine that should reward a decade plus of keeping.
