The 2023 Meursault Les Tillets offers well-defined yellow fruit mixed with lemon verbena and light lemon thyme scents on the nose. The palate is well-balanced with orange rind and peach skin notes on the entry. It's waxier in texture than other cuvées, with a long and satisfying tail on the finish. This is better than the 2022.
Pretty, ripe and fresh aromas include those of petrol, white orchard fruit, acacia and citrus zest. I like both the energy and texture to the attractively detailed middle weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the balanced and lightly lemon-tinged finale. This is lovely and very Tillets in style.
100% domaine. A glowing pale primrose. Ripe citrus, quite a sensual nose for Tillets, plenty going on here. Notably long finish, with the right acid balance. A very good example.
