The 2019 Pommard Les Noizons has turned out nicely, opening in the glass with scents of cherries, licorice, spices and forest floor. Medium-bodied, chalky and vibrant, it's tightly wound and penetrating, with lively acids and a youthfully chewy finish. There's more substance here than its communal sibling, but just as austere out of the gates.
