The 2000 Barolo Bussia Riserva Oro (magnum) is a big, dark wine packed with fruit. It shows captivating inner perfume in sweet balsamic notes that wrap around a core of dark, vibrant fruit. Menthol, spices, violets, espresso and French oak appear later, adding further complexity. The large format has helped the wine retain considerable freshness. This is a fabulous effort from Marco Parusso.
