The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Vieilles Vignes Rouge delivers aromas of orange rind, red berries, petals and spices, followed by a medium-bodied, ample and fleshy palate that's supple and giving in style.
Lightish ruby purple with a very pleasing floral and fruit forward bouquet. Attractive from the start but obviously low key. The fruit does follow all the way through and the tannins are tamed. All destemmed.
