The 2018 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Les Demoiselles (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) is showing very well indeed, unfurling in the glass with scents of citrus oil, fresh Anjou pear, almond paste and white flowers, deftly framed by a nicely integrated application of new oak. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, with a concentrated and tight-knit core, lively acids and a long, chalky finish.
