The 2021 Corton-Charlemagne Cuvée du Kalimeris comes from 12 sources all around the hill from 8 providers of must that are delivered in barrels to the winery. It has a potent bouquet with peach and apricot scents, fragrant and floral. The palate is well-balanced, with a touch of peach skin and pithy yellow fruit. With fine texture and a keen thread of acidity, this will be approachable in two or three years and should age well for 15 to 20 years. (Kalimeris is a flower).
Pale yellow. An attractive floral style with an exuberant fruit aspect underneath, a solid rich full white fruit on the palate, juicy and quite sensual, just the right acidity, stylish and long.
