A perfumed and more elegant nose is comprised by notes of red cherry, anise and a whiff of earth. The middleweight flavors possess a beguiling texture that is at once rich yet detailed with good persistence on the ever-so-slightly rustic finale. This too should drink well young.
A blend of eight different vineyards. A fuller pinkish purple. The bouquet is gorgeous, rounded after the more linear Vosne Romanée. There is a thread of acidity through the middle, but the fruit has ripened very nicely and the length is there.
