The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Hereditas has a floral bouquet with orchard fruit (apricot blossom) and a touch of melted candle wax. Fine delineation. The palate is fresh and vibrant, very impressive in terms of weight, with a peachy finish that is predesigned to seduce. This will be difficult to resist once in bottle.
Pretty floral nuances are present on the agreeably fresh yet ripe aromas of white orchard fruit, rosemary oil and a whiff of petrol character. There is both good volume and punch to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that display good length on the nicely dry finale. This could use better depth but overall, it's a promising Chassagne villages.
