Medium to dense raspberry, not much deeper than the other Beaunes. The nose is a little bit sterner, more backward certainly. This is on the ripe side, definitely plummy, with quite a firm structure. Still early days for this wine and we shall see where the balance emerges. Probably in a good direction.
