Compact, spicy and earthy, this red displays mint, black cherry, blackberry and vanilla flavors. Long, ending with echoes of dark fruit and spice. Well-marked by new oak and should find a nice equilibrium with time.
From exceptionally old vines, 90 year old, with an acceptable yield of 24 hl/ha. Not especially deep in colour, but quite sensual on the nose. Lovely aromatics, the whole bunch component (15%) gives a tingle factor, really well balanced and very long. There may be a trace of acetate which can be cleaned up when the wine is racked
