This is a typical Gruaud-Larose: dark-colored, ripe, with fat, fruity, meaty flavors suggestive of herbs, plums, and black cherries. In the mouth, the wine has full body, medium-soft tannins, and a supple, smooth finish. Because of its forward charms, it is undeniably appealing now.
Very young appearance, still deep purple. Cedar and tobacco nose, with a black truffle nuance and minty notes. Very firm and tannic; tight and unevolved, though a fruity undertone is evident.
