Wafting from the glass with a fresh, perfumed bouquet of spices, white flowers, pear, peach and angelica, the 2024 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc possesses a medium- to full-bodied, dense and sappy palate framed by a gastronomic bitterness, concluding with a long, saline and lively finish. More tensile than in the past, this is a strikingly pure white wine.

Mixing 80% Roussanne with Bourboulenc, Picardan and Clairette, the medium- to full-bodied 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc shines with remarkable complexity as fresh honeysuckle, herbal tea and a slice of pear come forward. Gentle cedar adds more nuance. Sapid and concentrated, the 2024 carries a neat drive of acidity all the way through to the subtle finish of mineral and wet stone.
