Dark, ripe garnet colour, brick-red reflections on the rim. Intense bouquet; mineral notes, rosehips, dates, cooking chocolate, dense, tending towards overripe fruit. Sweet, creamy palate, malty tones, curry, cloves and again plenty of dates enriched with caramel. Great wine with a pithy character note in the powerful finish.
