The estate’s 2009 Musigny Vieilles Vignes is a huge, explosive wine. Red raspberries, minerals, rose petals, pomegranate and white flowers are some of the nuances that emerge from this intense, focused wine. I tasted two separate barrels, one where the fruit and tannins still needed to meld together, the second totally seamless. This is a gorgeous wine in the making.
