Former proprietor Elena Celli is enamored of Grenache, and this wine is very much her brainchild. With organic and biodynamic fruit from white limestone soils, the Duemani 2022 G. Punto sees up to 40% whole-cluster fruit in Manetti clay amphorae. The grapes are layered in by hand, and cap management is also executed by hand. Luca D'Attoma uses a bucket to gently wet the cap. This pretty wine presents punchy aromas of lilac, wild cherry and sweet earth. Cooler vintages offer more vertical lift, and this hot-vintage expression sticks to the basics of the variety.

This is elegant and light but shows plenty of brightness and hints of gunpowder and orange peel. Light-bodied, crisp and so delicious. 50% stems. All amphorae.
