From vines located towards Couchey, the 2012 Bourgogne Rouge has a clean, fresh Morello and crushed strawberry bouquet that shows impressive clarity, with a smoky tincture developing with aeration. The palate is nicely balanced with clean, fresh tannins and fine acidity. This generic red is light and airy with a twist of sour cherry and strawberry pastilles lingering in the mouth.
