Pale colour with a brick rim. Earthy somewhat funky leather and game nose with aromas of tobacco leaf, cinnamon, tree bark and pepper. The palate is mature with soft, powdery tannins and crisp acidity plus a good amount of fruit remaining. Long finish with a slight grip of astringency.

Rich and almost chunky, full of black cherry, earth and mineral, this is round and balanced, losing a bit of concentration midpalate. Moderate aftertaste of cherry and spice.
