Directly from the domaine, this rare and very sought after 1995.
The 2007 Jurançon L07-C78 comes with a yellow wax capsule, and the residual sugar at 29g/L. It has a very different nose compared to the 2000: Riesling-inspired aromas on the nose with a little reduction. I wonder if this received too much SO2 at the time? The palate does not have the depth of other wines and feels a little simple on the finish. Whether it will blossom in 20-years time is an open question. I would want to see something more behind that sulphur...but you never know. Tasted at the Joliette vertical in London.
