The 2005 Jurançon L05-C24 delivers 34g/L residual sugar and comes with an orange wax capsule. It has a gorgeous bouquet with marmalade, quince, yellow flowers, over-ripe Clementine, saffron and beeswax. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, a little Tokaji-like in style, very harmonious with just the right amount of oxidation on the finish. This conveys a sense of elegance with a finish reminiscent of mature Sauternes. Drinking perfectly now. Tasted at the Joliette vertical in London.
Directly from the domaine, this rare and very sought after 2005.
