This wine came from a perfect cellar, stored together with a large Chateauneuf parcel. This 1945 grand cru Burgundy is an amazing wine. The color is pinot noir red with an orange rim. It needs about 5 minutes to open up. Beautiful red cherries and of course tutti-frutti dried fruit. A well made grand cru. Only old well matured Burgundy can taste like this !
