Robert Parker (93)

From the late ripening top of the Muschelkalk slope and 39-year-old vines, the 2013 Riesling Clos Windsbuhl opens with a deep, very clear, subtle, smoky, lemony, and floral bouquet with wet stone aromas, and the precision of a great Riesling. Full-bodied, fresh, very elegant and mineral on the palate, this pure, extremely focused, austerely mineral and highly complex wine does not have a single gram of fat and finishes with a fantastic grip, and a very long and salty aftertaste. This sleeper is probably one of the greatest and most tension-filled dry 2013 Rieslings I have tasted from this vintage, Austria and Germany included. A Must Buy for all Riesling freaks.

Winespectator (93)

Fresh and floral, with aromatic accents of verbena and chervil lacing the tangy palate of grapefruit granita, lemon meringue and nectarine fruit. Dense and well-knit, with power behind the overall finesse. Long and vibrant, sporting a minerally finish.
