An exuberantly spicy and floral-suffused nose derives more from the dark side of the fruit spectrum. On the palate, there is slightly better volume and richness if less minerality to the gorgeously textured flavors that possess excellent depth and persistence. This is also a very fine villages level wine and definitely worth your interest.
An attractive pale purple, with a lighter rim. The bouquet has not yet woken up after the bottling. Medium density with some of the lifted class of the appellation and a little spice to finish. Nicely balanced, a Vosne of medium concentration.
