The 2009 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot is impeccably classy and refined. This is a distinctly feminine style of Chassagne, with beautifully articulated, pointed fruit and clean finish. I especially like the sense of tension here. At times, the wine’s structure seems very Pinot-like.
