The 2022 Les Leçons des Maîtres is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon. It was barrel fermented and matured for eight months in used French oak. It bursts from the glass with gregarious scents of lychee, elderflower, tarragon and beeswax. The light-bodied palate offers generous layers of stone fruit and citrus. It’s enlivened by juicy acidity and has a long, gently textural finish. Treat it like a Bordeaux Blanc and allow it to gain savory complexity over the next 5+ years in the cellar. 180 cases produced.

A stunning white wine, succulent, intense and complex, featuring fleshy nectarine, apricot and honey-drizzled ripe melon at the core, with litsea oil and lemon verbena aromatics that linger in the background. The 2021 Les Lecons Des Maitres (80% Sauvignon Blanc and the rest Semillon) reveals ripe, savory aromas of lemon balm, ripe melon, baking spices, and fresh quince. This medium-bodied, stony textured white is citrus-driven on the palate, with Meyer lemon, lemon lime, and white flowers. It’s a wonderful, age-worthy Bordeaux Blanc style to drink 2025-2035.

Made from 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, it is distinctive, complex and flavorful.
