Fairly strong reduction makes the nose very difficult to read. The flavors though are considerably finer than the previous Gevrey villages wines with excellent precision and impressive complexity, sappiness and a dusty, mouth coating, palate staining finish. Given how fleshy and generous the flavors are, it's remarkable how precise this is.
