All but invisible wood easily allows the much earthier and slightly riper dark currant and humus aromas that are cut with a note of herbal tea to shine. The velvety, round and delicious middle weight flavors possess a supple mid-palate though the firm and mildly rustic finish makes it clear that this will require a few years of bottle age first plus it should help to develop a bit more overall depth as well.
