The 2009 Vosne-Romanee Clos du Chateau opens with a gorgeous, knock-out nose. Sweet rose petals, flowers of all sorts and sweet spices are just some of the nuances that emerge from this impossibly delicate, refined Vosne. The finish is simply eternal. The soils here contain a mixture of clay and limestone. This 40-year-old parcel is the estate’s youngest.
