James Suckling (97)

Aromas of purple fruit, wild blueberries, pomegranates and undertones of pine forest and pink peppercorns. Electric acidity and a crunchy and snappy texture. Structured and expressive. Medium-bodied. Drink or hold.

Jancis Robinson (19)

Planted in 1994, Arnot and Roberts now manage the vineyard and farm organically.
Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Roberts are simply masters of cool-climate Syrah, and this wine ticks all the boxes. Planted in 1994, it is the oldest and westernmost Syrah planting in the Sonoma Coast; in the hands of Arnot and Roberts, it rarely strays above 12.5% alcohol. It’s aromatically stirring, redolent of Christmas spice and smoke, bright and lifted (for Syrah). The flavours follow with great clarity, a dark-plum-skin intensity offset by a touch of pine-tip greenness, mineral and on point for lamb. Patrick Comiskey

Vinous (98)

The 2024 Syrah Que Syrah Vineyard takes its place among the very finest vintages ever made here. Inky, racy and deep, the 2024 impresses from start to finish. Inky dark fruit, coffee, lavender, mint and black pepper stain the palate. The 2024 doesn't quite have the mid-palate richness of the epic 2021, but it comes close. I find it incredibly elegant. The 2024 was done with 70% whole clusters, which add layers of savory dimension that really explode on the finish. Magical.
