With a spicy edge this really speaks to red fruits and a more complex, game meat-infused set of savory aromas. The palate has impressive, punchy fruit attack, and peaches and cherries go toe to toe on the finish.
Very pale orangey-pink. Vibrant and vivacious on the nose. Attractive texture with masses of fruit but an attractive dry finish. Quite pretty – a little soft perhaps but certainly not flabby. (JR)
The 2007 Brut Rosé Amour de Deutz is a very pretty wine to drink now and over the next few years. There is good depth and plenty of power here, even if the mousse is not as refined as it could be. Cranberry, white pepper, flowers and chalk lead into the bracing finish. The 2007 is pretty, if a touch compact. Disgorged: November 11, 2015.
