The fruit is equally dark and concentrated, delivering the richness expected of a Riserva, though the overall impression is heavy and fully shaped by its hefty 15.5% alcohol. Drawn from a 2.5-hectare vineyard on galestro soils, the wine ages for 42 months in tonneaux followed by 18 months in bottle, a regimen that emphasizes power over finesse.
