The 2011 Morey-Saint-Denis Village is imbued with a distinctive, sous-bois and cigar-box bouquet that has respectable definition and vigor. The palate has a pastille-like entry with slightly coarse tannins at the moment, a core of strawberry and pomegranate notes lending this light but agreeable Morey village some much-needed fleshiness on the finish.
