Deep-mid ruby. Dark red and black fruits; raspberry, black cherry, cassis. Rich, suave and velvety texture, compact without any heaviness. Powerful and long. Very, very good.
Soft notes of wood frame cool, pure and sauvage-inflected red and dark berry fruit and warm earth nuances. The dense, attractively rich and vibrant middleweight flavors possess fine detail on the balanced, precise and stunningly long finish that displays focused power. Moderate patience advised.
More purple than crimson. Rather a meaty nose, perhaps the effect of Morey following after a series of Chambolle 1ers Crus. Plenty of fruit to fill the mouth, sturdy, some acidity, not quite singing today.
