Burghound (91)

A perfumed, cooler and quite pretty nose mixes notes of both red and dark currant, soft earth and a floral element. The rich and very seductively textured medium weight flavors tighten up considerably on the relatively powerful, serious and balanced finish. This is quite good and it is certainly ripe, it is less obviously marked by the 2018 vintage.
