Burghound (92)

Pungent aromas of reduction and wood toast lead to nicely voluminous but refined medium weight flavors that exude evident minerality on the sleekly muscular and well-detailed flavors that deliver fine length on the reasonably complex finale where the only nit is a hint of warmth. This is an elegant Corton rouge.

Jasper Morris (93)

Full ripe purple. There is plenty of power in this Corton Perrières but it has not got too ripe. Headier on the palate, certainly with ripe dark fruit, but with the underlying mineral feel of this vineyard. A few stems added back in help balance the ripeness.
