Aromas of ripe cherries and blackberries, complemented by notions of rose petals, violets and musky spices preface the 2018 Chambolle Musigny Clos de l'Orme, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered wine that's multidimensional, concentration and gourmand while remaining lively and beautifully defined. This is an exquisite Chambolle.
Glowing imperial purple in colour. The nose has a beautiful, lifted sensual strawberry fruit, Chambolle grace, plenty of volume here, this flows across the palate too, with medium intensity, very classy. Sébastien has clearly found his style.
