Robert Parker (88)

The 2012 Bourgogne has a lovely nose, very natural with touches of underground suffusing the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, very fresh and vibrant with plenty of tart red cherry fruit. It is a little pointed at the moment but give it a year in bottle and you will have a lovely generic red Burgundy.

Vinous (89)

The 2012 Bourgogne opens with the most exquisite and inviting of bouquets. The flavors are remarkably vivid in a wine that overachieves at this level. Sweet red cherry, plum and spice notes linger on the close. Balance reigns supreme in this classy Bourgogne.

Burghound (88)

he expressive nose displays bright aromas of cherry, soft earth and the barest suggestion of spice elements. There is excellent volume, freshness and verve to the medium weight flavors that possess good mid-palate concentration before culminating in a persistent, balanced and complex finish. This is a first-rate Bourgogne and absolutely one to buy if you can find it plus it should repay mid-term cellaring if desired.
