Strong wood and menthol influences flight somewhat with the intensely floral-suffused aromas of cassis, spice and various dark berries. The supple, round and reasonably energetic medium-bodied flavors aren't particularly dense while the bitter pit fruit-inflected finish displays notable warmth. This has its strong points but the warmth does detract somewhat from the overall sense of balance.
