This is also attractively spicy though less so while adding plenty of earth and forest floor nuances to the red and dark currant scents. The rich and appealingly textured medium-bodied flavors flash focused power on the impressively long and balanced finale. This quality effort could use better depth but that should just be a matter of allowing at least some bottle aging.

A fine mid ruby purple. The nose does have some of the savoury strawberry character of this part of the world, but is less evident than the fruit which sweeps across the palate which is sweeter rather than savoury, but still dominated by strawberry notes. A long and even quite elegant finish.
