The 2020 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru unfurls in the glass with aromas of wild berries, cherries, loamy soil and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, ample and velvety, with ripe, supple tannins and lively acids, it's broad and charming, concluding with a nicely defined finish.

Almost black in the centre, rather un-Drouhin like. Very powerful, with liquorice and black fruit, firm tannins, this is a little bit on the muscular side, showing the more aggressive side of 2020 today.
