This manages to walk that fine line between very ripe yet very fresh with elegant aromas of dark berry and black berry fruit that leads to sappy and exceptionally rich flavors that soak the palate with dry extract on the textured and impressively voluminous finish that delivers seriously good length. A striking showing in a vintage that produced any number of first rate examples of Clos St. Denis. Recommended.
