Burghound (91)

Notes of mostly ripe purple fruit are laced with hints of earth, the sauvage and wood hints. The supple, round and delicious middle weight flavors possess a velvety texture that contrasts somewhat with the firm, moderately rustic and solidly powerful finish. This will need at least some patience.

Darkish purple, slightly high toned, a firmer style. Very good intensity but this could use being a little bit more supple. I like the aftertaste with a good quality of dark but precise fruit.
