The 1996 Sena has a perfumed bouquet of red berry fruit, balsam and cedar that is sedate and composed. The palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins on the entry. There is a little hardness here, pointed acidity and a brittle finish. It remains fresh and vibrant, with an almost old school Claret like austere finish.
